CHARLES V. AUSTIN

Hr. Austin entered our employ as a "Page" in the "Pages Department" on September 12, 1918
at the age of fourteen.
On January 1, 1919 he was transferred to Purchasing Department as a "Page*"
He was transferred to the Transit (now Collections) Department as a "Clerk,"
on August 30, 1920. In 1921 he was made a Junior Clerk; in 1922, an
Intermediate Clerk; and in 1923, Section Head and then Senior Clerk.
During 1933 he worked temporarily in the Liquidation Department as Senior Clerk.
Then in May 1934 he was transferred to die Analysis (Accounting) Department.*
as Senior Clerk, and then to Analysis Clerk in 1936.
In 1942 he bezant an Accountinf Clerk A in the Accounting ftepartaent
until 1946 when he became Expense Clerk.
Following that he was made Supervisor of the Expense Unit of the Accounting
Department in 1947.
Then on November 21, 1966 he was transferred to the Bank Examination Department to
po.ltion of Assistant Bank Burner.
Mr. Austin will begin service retirement on November 30, 1968 and at that tiam
will hava completed fifty years, two months, and eighteen days.

MARIAN E. BOYD (MRS.)
Mrs. Boyd came to the Bank on November 15, 1918 at the age of fourteen.
Her first position was as "Clerk" in die Transit (Collections) Department
In 1920 she was made "Section Head^ thoiin 1925, Senior Clerk.
She was made an "Incoming Mail ClerK* in 1947 which title was later changed
to Receiving Clerk.
Then in 1956 she was promoted to Section Head-Receiving in the Department
of Collections. She is presently serving in this position.
On November 15, 1968, Marian will celebrate her fiftieth anniversary
at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
She plans to retire on service retirement, February 28, 1969.

WILLIAM J. KELLY

Appointed November 13, 1914, at the age of 14 as "Office Boy" in the
"Bookkeeping Department".*'
On January 1, 1917 he was promoted to "Bookkeeper."
He was made "Ledger Clerk'on July 1, 1919.
In 1921 he became "General Clerk?1in the Bookkeeping-General Ledger Department.
On January 1, 1936 he was made "Special Clerk" of the Accounting Department,
and later that year was made "Expense Clerk".
On February 1, 1944 he became Assistant Head of the Accounting Department
and hjeld this position until he left on November 30, 1964 on
Special Service Retirement. He had a this time completed fifty years
and seventeen days.

THOMAS F. MAGUIRE

On October 7, 1918, Mr. Maguire entered our employ as a "Page" in the
Pages Department at the age of fourteen.
In 1921 he became a Junior Clerk In our Transit (Collections) Department.
From that time on until 1928 he held various positions such as Intermediate
Clerk, Section Head, General Clerk, Senior Clerk.
Bank Ledger
Then in June of 1929 he Was transferred to the Bookkeeping/Department*
as General Clerk, Senior Clerk and Availability Clerk.
In 1942 he became Accounting Clerk B and then Accounting Clerk A in the
Accounting DeparfeogQt up until October 1947, at whidh time he was made
Section Head (Cash Mail).
Then in August of '49, he was named General Service Clerk until he
became Supervisor Reconcilement, in the Accounting Department in July of 1954.
On November 6, 1967 he transferred to the Bank Examination Department at which
time he became an Assistant Bank Examiner.
Mr. Maguire celebrated his fiftieth year with die Bank on October 7, 1968.
