The day-long summit featured remarks by Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo, Counselor for Racial Equity Janis Bowdler, and U.S. Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, along with panel discussions with senior officials from the Treasury Department, the Department of Commerce, and the Department of Agriculture – as well as leaders across the private, public, and philanthropic sectors – on the current economic state of Latinos in the U.S. and the Biden-Harris Administration’s strategy for equitable pandemic recovery.
