Ekspor Impor Bank Indonesia (Persero) -- December 16, 1998 Release Date: December 16, 1998 For immediate release The Federal Reserve Board today announced the issuance of an Order of Assessment of a Civil Money Penalty against the P.T. Ekspor Impor Bank Indonesia (Persero), Jakarta, Indonesia and the bank's New York Agency. P.T. Ekspor Impor Bank Indonesia (Persero) and the Agency, without admitting to any allegations, consented to the issuance of the Order in connection with allegations that they failed to comply with the terms of the Written Agreement that they entered into on December 29, 1994 with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Superintendent of Banks of the State of New York. P.T. Ekspor Impor Bank Indonesia (Persero) and the Agency paid a $50,000 penalty to the Federal Reserve Board and paid $50,000 to New York State. A copy of the Order is attached.
