That volume (available from the Superintendent of Documents for $5.15) provides a description of each series, references to sources of earlier figures, and historical data as follows: For all series, monthly or quarterly, 1969 through 1972 (1962-72 for major quarterly series), annually, 1947-72; for selected series, monthly or quarterly, 1947-72 (where available). Series added or significantly revised after the 1973 BUSINESS STATISTICS went to press are indicated by an asterisk (*) and a dagger (f), respective!}^; certain revisions for 1972 issued too late for inclusion in the 1973 volume appear in the monthly SURVEY beginning with the August 1973 issue. Also, unless otherwise noted, revised monthly data for periods not shown herein corresponding to revised annual data are available upon request. The sources of the data are given in the 1973 edition of BUSINESS STATISTICS; they appear in the main descriptive note for each series, and are also listed alphabetically on pages 189-90.
