Board held in 'the office of the Board on Tuesday, October

The Governor of the Board presided and :r. H.
P. Mills acted as secretary to the meeting..
The minutes of the preceding meeti.g were read
and approved as amended.

one hundred dollars were approved with change of the word
President to Governor as signature of the chief executive
officer and. ordered transmitted to the Assistant OecretarY
of the Treasury, •I'Lr. Lalburn.
The Governor laid before the Board a communication
from the ::erchants Association of hew York regarding the

aefinition to be given commercial paper.

The Secretary laid before the Board a communication from the Counsel stating that pleadings in
the alT2eals from the decision of tne Organization Committee in establishing Federal Reserve Districts had
reached a point where oral argun:ents might be called
for at the pleasure of the Board.
