Dear Governor Martin: During the meeting today with the Governors* Conference of the Federal Reserve Committee on Branch, Group and Chain Banking a request was made that each Governor be furnished with a copy of the confidential data submitted recently "to the Sub-committee of the Committee on Banking and Currency of the United States Senate which is engaged in a survey of the operation of the National and Federal Reserve banking systems.
