Mergers find Establishment of Branches
The Peoples Bank of Johnstovm, N. Y., Johnstown, New York,
was merged i n t o t h e S t a t e Bank of Albany, Albany, New York,
both S t a t e members, under the t i t l e and c h a r t e r of t h e l a t t e r
i n s t i t u t i o n . In connection with the merger a branch was
e s t a b l i s h e d at Johnstown.

The Merchants National Bank, Dunkirk, New York, and Bank of
Corfu, Corfu, New York, a nonmembcr insured bank, were merged
i n t o Manufacturers and T r i d e r s Trust Company, B u f f a l o , New
York, fi S t a t e member, under the t i t l e and c h a r t e r of the
l a t t e r i n s t i t u t i o n . In connection with the mergers branches
were e s t a b l i s h e d at Dunkirk -and.Corfu.
