1J During March changes from a year ago reflect in part the fact that last year
Easter was. on April 21 whilih this year it will be on April 6. For this reason
it is estimated that in comparison with last, year allowance should be made for
an increase in sales of ab^tit 3 per cent for:the month of March as a whole.
Z j Sales v in the. week ending Marih 8, 1947 reflect the effect of a snow storm.
3 [ Sales in the week ending Marih 29, 1947 were reduced"because of heavy snow storms.
4/ Decrease for sales in the we|k ending March 1, 1947 reflects in part the effect
' of heavy snow storms.
