The s e a s o a a l l y ^ a d j u s t e d money supply declined $1.5 b i l l i o n in July, reversing
most of the June expansion. ^TiffiTUeposits at a l l commercial banks increased $1.8
b i l l i o n i n July ( a f t e r adjustment for a change in d e f i n i t i o n ) , about $500 million more
than the May-June i n c r e a s e s .

NOTE: Money supply consists of (1) demand deposits at all commercial banks, other
than those due to domestic commercial banks and the U»S, Government, less cash items
in process ^of collection and Federal Reserve Float; (2) foreign demand balances at
Federal Reserve Banks; and (3) currenty outside the Treasury, the Federal Reserve and
the vaults of all commercial banks. Time deposits adjusted are time deposits at all
commercial banks other than those due to domestic commercial banks and the U.S.
Government*
