i n c r e a s e d i n November, a f t e r allowance f o r t h e
u s u a l s e a s o n a l change. The a d j u s t e d index f o r
t h e month i s e s t i m a t e d a t 132 per cent of t h e
19lt7-U9 average, compared with 129 f o r October.
Stocks a t the end of November were 7 p e r cent
g r e a t e r t h a n a year ago.
