ported for the preceding week and 29 percent above tho total for the corresponding
week of last y e a r .
Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main­
tained since January 1919 amounted to $ 8 ,1 0 8 ,0 0 0 ,0 0 0 , compared with $6,735*000,000
the preceding week and $6 ,2 9 3 ,0 0 0 ,0 0 0 the week ended September 4 of last year.
