reported for the preceding week and 7 percent below the total for the corresponding
week of last year*

Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been mainrtained since January 1919 amounted to $7,913,000,000, compared with $7,102,000,000
the preceding week and $8 ,518,000*000 the week ended September 22 of last year*
