•RHW DEBITS

Board of Governors
of the Federal Reserve System
November 28, 1936

Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for the
week ended November 25, aggregated $10,01+5,000,000, or 10 percent below the total
reported for the preceding week and 17 percent above tlie total for the corresponding
week of last year.
Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main­
tained since January 1919 amounted to $9,365,000,000, compared with $10,332,000,000
the preceding week and $7,924,000,000 the week ended November 27 of last year.
