BAM DEBITS Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by banks in leading cities for the week ending November 18, aggregated $8 , 617 , 000, 000 , or 20 per cent above the total reported for the preceding week which included but five business days in nearly all of the reporting centers, and 29 per cen<t below the total for the corresponding week of last year. Aggregate debits for the l4l centers for which figures have been published weekly since January 19^9 ajnouixted to $7,950,000,000, as compared with $6,670,000,000 the preceding week and $11,240,000,000 the week ending November 19 of last year.
