Released, for publisaticto Sunday morning Nev. 10, 1918. .61 St PI'SSS STATEMENT. Noveiac*** $, 1918 , Below is given the Sedavel Reserve Board's twelfth weekly statement of total debits to deposit account, reported through the Federal Reserve banks by about 1*5 of the country's more important clearing houses. Transactions cover the weekly periods ending Wednesday, October jO and November 6 . The statement closes with a recapitulation giving comparative data by reserve districts for centers reporting both weeks. Figures for the latest week show large decreases in both debits to in dividual account and debits tc hank account in practically all Federal Reserve dis tricts. This is true of the smaller as well as of the larger centers and repre sents probably a normal state of affairs not affected by Liberty loan payments and J.nter-bank transactions including transfers on Government account# ;^ The statement includes for the first time debits for some of the banks in Pittsburgh, these figures, however, being avowedly incomplete. Comparative data for the last two weeks cover dsbii transactions for clearing house banks in about 1*0 centers. Figures of reporting clearing houses by Federal Reserve districts are as follows (in thousands of dollars, i . e . , 000 ' s^omitted): Debits to Individual ---- ----- -: ...October 30 : November Debits to Banks’ and 6 : October.JP November 6 1 .
