The principal increases are shown for the following cities: New York City $1,009,000,000, Chicago $177,000,000, Phila delphia $116,000,000, San Francisco $112,000,000, Los Angeles $90,000,000, Boston $78,000,000 and Cleveland $54,000,000. As compared with the week ending March 5, 1924, debits for the wesk under re view shew an increase of $1,389,000,000, of 12,7 psr cent. Hew York City reports an incro&ga ox $0 3 7 ,000,000, wfaile other large increases are as follows: Phila delphia $109,000,000, Chicago $101,000,000, San Francisco $71,000,000, Boston $39,000,000, Pittsburgh $32,000,000, and Minneapolis $22,000,000. Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been published weekly since January, 1919, wore $11,653,540,000 a3 compared with $9,389,090,000 for the preceding week and $10,329,172,000 for the week ending March 5, 1924..
