Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by
banks in leading cities for the week ended March l4, aggregated $6,996*000,000, or
2 per cent below the total reported for last week.
Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main­
tained since January 1919 amounted to $6,553*000,000, compared with $6,637,000,000
last week.
