the preceding Week.
Debits f or the week tinder review are $3>301.000,000 or 26.3 per cent
above those reported for the Week ending March 9, 1927* New York City reported
an increase of $2,617,000,000, San Francisco $120,000,000, Chicago $119,00(5,000,
Philadelphia $85.000,OOOj Detroit $39,000,000, and, Los Angeles $31,000,000,!
Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been published
weekly since January 1919 amounted to $15,070,587,000, as comt>ared'with
