Below is given the Federal Reserve Board1s regular weekly statement of total
debits to deposit account, reported through the Federal Reserve banks by about
150 of the country's more important clearing houses. Transactions cover the week­
ly periods ending Wednesday June IS and 25, 1919*
Debits to individual account for the week under review are about Id per cent
below the exceptionally high figure of the previous week, but compare favorably
with the av3 ".,e for the earlier ’ months of the year. Of the larger centers
Boston alone reports a higher figure than the week before, while more than
average decreases are shown for New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit,
St. Louis, Dallas, and San Francisco.
Debits to bank account also show a decline, but only of about 5 Per CGnt,
some of the larger centers, including Baltimore, Detroit, Minneapolis, and
Kansas City, reporting increases under this head.

The statement closes with a recapitulation giving comparative figures by reserve
districts of 152 centers reporting conplete data for both weeks. Figures for
reporting clearing houses by Federal Reserve districts are as follows:
