BANK DEBITS

Board of Governors
of the Federal Reserve System
June 26, 1937

Debits to individual acoounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for the
week ended June 23, aggregated *8,909,000,000, or 8 percent below the total re­
ported for the preceding week and H percent above the total for the corresponding
week of last year.
Aggregate debits for thd l4l cities for which a separate total, has been main­
tained since January 1919 amounted to #8,21-4,000,000, compared with $8,870,000,000
the preceding week and $7,406,000,000 the week ended June 24 of last year.
