Debits to individual accounts, as reported "by banks in leading cities for the
week ended June 17, aggregated $9,§60,000,000, or 23 percent above the total re­
ported for the preceding week and 15 percent above the total for the corresponding
weel: of last year.
Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been main­
tained since January 1919 amounted to $9*285*000,000, compared with $7,488,000,000
the preceding week and $8,065,000,000 the week ended June 19 of last year.
