B-806 Federal Reserve Board July 8, 1933 BANK DEBITS Debits to individual accounts, as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by banks in leading cities for the week ending July 5, which included only five business days, aggregated $7 , 862, 000, 000, or 15 per cent above the total reported for the preceding week and 8 per cent above the total for the corresnonding week of last year, which also included only five business days. Aggregate debits for the l4l cities for which a separate total has been maintained since January 1919 amounted to $7,323,000,000, compared with $6,409,000,000 the preceding week and $6,701,000,000 the week ending July 6 of last year.
