Form FR-285 For immediate release STATEMENT FDR THE PRESS Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System BANK DEBITS JUL 5 1930 Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for the week ended June 28, aggregated $8,359*000,000, or 2 per cent below the total for tho preceding week and 9 por cent above the total for the corresponding week of last year. Aggregate debits for the ll+l cities for which a separate total has been maintained since January 1919 amounted to $7*758*000,000, compared with $7*863*000,000 the preceding week and $7,070,000,000 the week ended June 29 of last year.
