BANK DEBITS Debits to individual accounts, banks in leading cities for the week 10 per cent below the total reported the total for the corresponding week as reported to the Federal Reserve Board by ending July 22, aggregated $9 ,H o , 000,000, or for the preceding week and 23 per cent below of last year. Aggregate debits for the l4l centers for which figures have been published weekly since January 1919 amounted to $8 , 4S0 .000,000, as compared with $9 , 504,000,000 for the preceding week and $11,095,000,000 for the week ending July 2j of last year.
