Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for tlie
week ended July 15 , aggregated $3,323,000,000, or 1 percent below the total reported
for the preceding week, which included only five business days, and 2 percent below
the total for the corresponding week of last year.
Aggregate debits for tlie l4l cities for which a separate total has "been main­
tained since January 1913 amounted to $ 7 , 698,000,000, compared with $ 7 ,797»000,000
the "preceding week and $7,944,000,000 the week ended July 17 of last year.
