BANK DEBITS

Board of Governors
of the Federal Reserve System
July 1, 1940

Debits to deposit accounts (except interbank accounts), as reported by banks
in leading cities for the week ended June 2$$, aggregated $7,71+3,000,000. Total
debits during the 13 weeks ended June 26 amounted to $110,255*000,000, or 6 per
cent above the total reported for the corresponding period a year ago.
