STATEMENT FOR THE PRESS Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System January 4, 1937 For immediate release BAM DEBITS Debits to individual accounts, as reported by banks in leading cities for the week ended December 30, which included only five business days, aggregated $ 9 , 67U,000, 000, or 22 percent below the total reported for the preceding week and 7 percent above the total for the corresponding week of last year, which also included only five business days.
