CONS
Bank debits as reported by banks'in 334 leading centers for the month of
November aggregated 92,921 million dollars. During the past three months total
debits for the same centers amounted to 290,113 million dollars or 11 per cent
above the t o t a l reported for the corresponding period a year ago. At banks in New
York City there was an increase of 5 P®r cent compared with the corresponding
three-months period a year ago, and at the 333 other centers there was an increase
of 15 per cent.
