Figures for the latest week show sabstantia-l increases in debits to both individual and bank accounts in the Hew York, Philadelphia, Cleveland and c>an Francisco districts . While seme of these increases may be due to the larger num ber of banks reporting through their clearing houses, the larger portion oi the gains shown reflect undoubtedly the larger volume of business transacted in these di stricts. Comparative data for the last two weeks cover debit transactions for clearing house banks in about 140 canters. Figures of reporting clearing houses by Federal Reserve districts are as fol lows (in thousands of dollars, i,e>, 000 ' s omitted): Debi.s to Individual Account November 27 November 20 EOSTON Bangor Bo ston Fall River Hartford Holyoke Lowell New Bedford New Haven Portland Pro vi dence .
