12 per cent above the total reported for the preceding week and 3 per cent below
the total for the corresponding wee’. of last year.

Aggregate debits for the 1*41 cities for which a separate total has been main­
tained since January 1919 amdunted to $ 6 , 152 , 000, 000, compared with $5,428, 300,000
the preceding week and $6,391,000,000 the week ended August l6 of last year.
