Bank debits as reported by banks in leading centers for the week ended
13, 19^1 aggregated $9,21+2,000,000. Total debits during the 15 weeks ended
13, 19la amounted to $133,14-25,000,000, or 26 per cent above the total re­
for the corresponding period a year ago. At banks in New York City there
increase of 23 per cent compared with the corresponding period a year ago,
the other reporting centers there was an increase of 28 per cent.
