banks in leading cities for the week ending April 17 aggregated $1 3 ,3 2 7 ,0 0 0 ,0 0 0 ,
or 2 .3 per cent above the total reported for the preceding woe];, and less than one
per cent above the total for the corrcs'ponding week of last year.
Aggregate debits for l4l centers for which figures have been published
weekly since January 1919 amounted to $17,434,000,000 as compared with
$16 , 93!+,000,000 for the preceding week and $1 7 , 3^1 , 000,000 for the week ending
April IS of last year.
