C O M M E R C I A L AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS O U T S T A N D I N G BY INDUSTRY

H . 12

Commercial and Industrial loans decreased a net of $108
million at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week
ending September 28, 1977.
The principal net decreases were $105 million in loans
for services and $101 million in loans for communication.
The largest offsetting increase was $129 million in loans
for petroleum refining.
