COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $201
million at Weekly Reporting Large Commercial banks during the Week
ending September 27, 1978.
The principal net increases were $162 million in loans
for other wholesale trade and $68 million in loans for retail trade.
The largest offsetting decrease was $80 million in loans
for other public utilities.
