FEDERAL Ill RESERVE statistical release For immediate release November 5, 1969 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $607 million at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ended October 29. f $ The principal net decreases were $131 million in loans to manufacturers of machinery, $63 million to manufacturers of textiles, apparel, and leather products, and $179 million to unclassified borrowers. • # trade.
