Commercial and i n d u s t r i a l loans decreased a n e t o f $91
m i l l i o n a t Weekly R e p o r t i n g Large Commercial banks d u r i n g t h e week
n e d i n g November 22, 1978.
The p r i n c i p a l n e t decreases were $151 m i l l i o n i n l o a n s
f o r Bankers Acceptances and $88 m i l l i o n i n loans f o r t e x t i l e s ,
a p p a r e l , and l e a t h e r .
The l a r g e s t o f f s e t t i n g i n c r e a s e was $67 m i l l i o n i n
loans f o r f o o d , l i q u o r , and t a b a c c o .
