COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY

H .12

Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $447 million
at Weekly Reporting Large Commercial banks during the Week ending
November 15, 1978.
The principal net increases were $213 million in loans for
other irtiolesale trade and $136 million in loans for mining (including
crude petroleum and natural gas).
The largest offsetting decrease was $75 million in loans
for textiles, apparel, and leather.
