COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY

Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $31
million at Weekly Reporting Large Commercial banks during the Week
ending November 9.
The principal net increases were $93 million in loans
for food, liquor and tobacco and $52 million in loans for commodity
dealers.
The largest offsetting decrease was $197 million in loans
for foreign commercial & industrial loans.
