FEDERAL statistic RESERVE release -• f'ML te^.For immediate release November 15, 1967 H. 12 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans increased in seven districts and a net of $126 million in weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ended November 8. The principal net increases were $55 million in loans to commodity dealers, $40 million to retail trade, $24 million to manufacturers of textiles, apparel, and leather products, and $37 million to unclassified borrowers. The largest offsetting net decrease was $24 million in loans to manufacturers of "other" fabricated metal products.
