COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY

Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $392 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended April 29.
The principal net decreases were $84 million in loans to manufacturers of
chemicals and rubber products, $122 million to "all other" types of business concerns
and $107 million to unclassified borrowers.
