COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans decreased at a net of $763 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended May 14, 1975.
The principal net decreases were $130 million in total unclassified loans,
$119 million in loans to otherpublic utilities and $74 million in loans to retail
trade.
The largest offsetting increase was $45 million in loans to foreign commercial
and industrial loans.
