COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $375 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended March 24.
The principal net decreases were $122 million in loans to manufacturers of
machinery, $84 million to manufactur.ers—of. .transportation equipment, $97 million to
"other" public utilities, and $ 145>nfl$l49.^6PA^^hejassified borrowers.
