RESERVE-S^
COMMERCIAL AND INDUgTRIAIrTOMS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $106 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended February 24.
The principal net increases were $59 million in loans to manufacturers of
other durable goods, $61 million to manufacturers of machinery, and $116 million in
bankers 1 acceptances.
The larger offsetting net decreases were $76 million in loans to manufacturers
of transportation equipment, and $161 million to unclassified borrowers.
