COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $279
million at Weekly Reporting Large Commercial banks during the Week
ending March 22, 1978.
The principal net increases were $118 million in loans
for retail trade and $59 million in loans for transportation.
The largest offsetting decrease was $198 million in loans
for bankers acceptances.
