C O M M E R C I A L AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS O U T S T A N D I N G tiY INDUSTRY

H.12

Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $506
million at Weekly Reporting Large Commercial banks during the Week
ending March 8, 1978.
The principal net increases were $124 million in loans
for wholesale trade and $88 million in loans for chemicals and
rubber.
The largest offsetting decrease was $129 million in loans
for bankers acceptances.
