Y

Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $99 million at weekly
reporting large coroneroial banks during the week ended March 6.
The principal net increases were $46 million ia loans to manufacturers of
machinery, $38 million In hankers1 acceptasses, and $36 million to manufacturers
chemicals and rubber products*

The largest offsetting net decrease was $4l million In loans to "all other"

types of business concerns*
