INDUSTRIAL

LOANS OUTSTANDING

BY

INDUSTRY

Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $326
million at Weekly Reporting Large Commercial banks during the Week
ending February 22, 1978.
The principal net increases were $122 million in loans
for chemicals and rubber and $77 million in loans for wholesale
trade.
The largest offsetting decrease was $76 million in loans
for foreign commercial and industrial loans.
