H.12 For immediate release June 4, 1969 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans decreased in eight districts and a net of $37 million at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ended May 28. The principal net decreases were $76 million in loans to manufacturers of machinery, and $54 million in loans to manufacturers of food, liquor, and tobacco products.
