L O A N S O U T S T A N D I N G BY I N D U S T R Y

Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $561 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended July 24, 1974.
The principal net decreases were $302 million in loans for bankers acceptances,
$164 million in loans for communication and $56 million in total unclassified loans
and loans for other wholesale trade.
The largest offsetting increase was $63 million for foreign and industrial loans.
