FEDERAL RESERVE statistical release H.12 For immediate release July 15, 1970 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $82 million at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the w e e k ended July 8. The principal net decreases were $169 million in loans to retail trade, $80 million to "other" public utilities, and $108 million to unclassified borrowers. The largest offsetting net increases were $ 103 million in loans to manufacturers of "other" durable goods, and $84 million to services.
